Restaurant Websites – A business with no sign is a sign of no business

Having a limited presence online is a bit like opening your doors without a sign, and a business with no sign is a sign of no business. How will you be found by customers who don’t walk past you? Our tip is to put that sign up online, as basic as it may be. After all a presence can still be budget friendly!

Having a website doesn’t mean breaking the bank. While a website can be a powerful way to demonstrate your experience and story (we’ll share more on this later) if funds are tight, make sure you have these three critical elements.

The ‘Must Have’ Website:

Where you are - think location, directions, parking or transit options if required. What you offer – the clincher. We’re talking a sample menu, even a basic PDF upload will mean those with dietary needs will thank you when they pay you a visit. How to visit – reservation information, contact information, hours.

With a variety of website build and platform options around today, big, small, fancy or frugal, you should be able to find an option that works within your style and budget.

One last thing, opening your doors is a busy time and with curiosity at its peak, the most important time for your website! Make sure your website is delegated into the right hands so that when you’re stuck dealing with a burst pipe or a staffing issue, somebody else is paying it attention.

So here’s a tip from the team at Silver Chef as we’ve watched thousands of businesses like yours succeed. When you put your sign up out front, put your sign up… online!
