In 2022, we launched two new community-focused initiatives.


SilverChef Community Grants Program

Every quarter we award four grants, each valued at $5,000, to community groups that use food service to support disadvantaged or marginalized communities. Learn more


Community-Equip 

We extend a helping hand to community organizations, especially those that use hospitality to help people in need.  The Community-Equip product provides easier access to discounted, used commercial kitchen equipment. Learn more

Certified B Corporations harness business potential to foster a more inclusive and sustainable global economy. As dedicated B Corp members, SilverChef adheres to rigorous standards for social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Our commitment to purpose and sustainability is embedded in our company's legal framework.

In B Corp's 2022 'Best for the World' Awards, SilverChef earned recognition for our exceptional compliance practices. We are very proud to be identified among the best Certified B Corps worldwide.

Volunteering

All our people receive two paid volunteering days every year. They use their time to support and uplift a wide range of community causes, including saving lives through blood donations, volunteering at the Lunar New Year Parade in Vancouver, supporting the Vancouver Food Bank, and volunteering at Fitness is a Drag, to name just a few.
